ABSTRACT

Objective Based on the Pressure-State-Response (PSR) model and Environmental health indicators (EHIs), the comprehensive environmental health risk index of the Yangtze River economic belt is assessed to evaluate the comprehensive environmental health risk of the study area from 2016 to 2020. Methods Reference to the results of the Second National Pollution Source Census, a comprehensive environmental health risk assessment system was established. Twenty three representative indicators covering the four directions of economy, society, environment and health were selected. The above indicators were standardized using the range method, and each indicator was weighted using the entropy weight method. Results From 2016 to 2020, the comprehensive risk of environmental health in the Yangtze River Economic Belt showed a downward trend. The comprehensive health risk index decreased from 0.5450 to 0.3255, and the risk level has changed from "medium risk" to "low risk". Conclusion The overall environmental health of the Yangtze River Economic Belt has been improving, but it is still necessary to note that with the economic development, the regional pressure risk index has been rising rapidly, and corresponding measures should be taken to maintain the balanced development of economic and environmental health.

ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT OBJECTIVE:To analyze spatial distribution characteristics of pharmaceutical industry in the Yangtze RiverEconomic Belt, and to provide reference for regional pharmaceutical industry planning. METHODS:Based on the central analysis, agglomerated sub group analysis and secondary assignment program analysis of social network analysis, the industrial relevancebetween regional pharmaceutical industry and regional cities were studied(using the image matrix of agglomerated sub group),using regional pharmaceutical enterprises in the Yangtze River Economic Belt as the research object. RESULTS &CONCLUSIONS:The study involved 111 listed pharmaceutical companies in 82 regional cities, and 82 urban nodes formed aregional pharmaceutical industry distribution network, which could generate 8 urban cohesion subgroups, represented by Shanghai,Chengdu and Chongqing;Shanghai and Hangzhou in the Yangtze River Delta,Chengdu and Chongqing in the Chengdu and Chongqing economic circle have more advanced position in network centrality. The centrality of Shanghai was the highest(25.926),followed by Chongqing and Chengdu(both were 19.753). It shows that the spatial distribution of the pharmaceuticalindustry in the Yangtze River Economic Belt shows a distribution pattern dominated by the Yangtze River Delta urbanagglomeration. At the same time, the Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration also shows a greater influence. The regional citiesplay different roles in industrial development. Chongqing and Taizhou have shown stronger industrial radiation capabilities, while?Shanghai and Hangzhou have shown stronger industrial absorption capacity.

ABSTRACT

The construction of Yangtze River Economic Belt has been included in the national strategy of China, aiming to improve the economic level of the whole population, and to build a green ecological corridor with the joint development of economy, balance, ecology and equity. Yangtze River Economic Belt is the main area where schistosomiasis is endemic. During the economic construction, the prevention and control of schistosomiasis should be strictly carried out to facilitate the progress towards schistosomiasis elimination in China. In this paper, the endemic situation of schistosomiasis in Yangtze River Economic Belt areas and the possible impact on the schistosomiasis control were analyzed. In addition, a few suggestions were proposed for schistosomiasis control in Yangtze River Economic Belt areas.

ABSTRACT

Relevant projects carried out within the Yangtze River economic belt on the impact of schistosomiasis epidemic and transmission are important issues for ecological priority in the process of implementing the strategy. The key problems of schistosomiasis epidemic risk, epidemic happening repeatedly, difficulty of rehabilitating Oncomelania hupensis snail control and schistosomiasis prevention forest, lag of evaluation system and platform construction, lack of basic research,et al. were ana-lyzed in the Yangtze River economic belt taking ecological priority as the basis in this paper. Then corresponding countermea-sures to these challenges were put forward so as to provide the reference for the national forestry schistosomiasis control pro-grams,which include:execution of the comprehensive prevention and control strategy, scheming of the new round of forestry schistosomiasis control programs, strengthening schistosomiasis prevention and control, promoting productivity in existing forest-ry to consolidate and improve the achievements of previous forestry schistosomiasis control programs, and promoting the intensi-ty of technological innovation to improve the technological level of forestry schistosomiasis control programs.
